This is the privacy policy for Bitter Bar Soap & Candle Co. We make candles and soaps with attitude, and we run this website and store to bring that experience to you.

When you shop with us, reach out to us, or just poke around the site, you’re using what we call “the Services.” That includes our products, features, checkout, content, support — everything we do to give you a better experience. Shopify powers the backend. They’re the tech muscle behind our storefront, and some of your info runs through them too.

Shopify’s Role

Shopify is our tech backbone. They store some of your info and use it to help all their merchants grow. They may analyze data across different shops, including ours. Outside Links

Our site might link to other websites. If you click and head to another site, we don’t control what they do with your info. Check their policies if you want to be safe. If you interact with us on social media, the platforms may collect data too. That’s between you and them.

Kids

This store is not for kids. If you’re under the legal age in your state or country, don’t send us your info. If you're a parent and think your kid gave us data, reach out. We’ll delete it.

Security and Storage

We work hard to protect your info, but no system is bulletproof. Be smart. Don’t share your login. Don’t send sensitive info over email. We hold onto your data only as long as we need it to fulfill orders, follow the law, resolve disputes, or keep your account running. Then we wipe it.
